High Shoals Falls

High Shoals Falls trail is located along High Shoals Creek in the Town County Georgia, just north of Helen Georgia. The trail is a 2.4 mile round trip and offers access to Blue Hole Falls as well as High Shoals Falls. The trail head is easy to miss and the road to access is quite narrow. Parking space is also limited. This trail is an easy hike in as you make your decent towards the falls. though with ample tree coverage that kept us cool even during the hot months. Blue Hole Falls is a nice smaller waterfall and the first waterfall you’ll reach on your hike. A Short distance from Blue Hole Falls, via a series of switchbacks you will reach the true star of the trail, High Shoals Falls. We think this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls we’ve visited in Georgia. You will not be disappointed.
