Cochran Mill Park

20 minutes south of Atlanta, Cochran Mills Park is located in Chattahoochee Hills. Cochran Mills Park offers numerous hiking trails, horse trails and is home to 3 waterfalls. The first waterfall is very accessible and is at the beginning of the main trail. This is a great place to stop and get some awesome waterfall photos. From here you can follow the 4.8 mile Henry Mill Falls trail to and from Henry Mill Falls.

Cochran Mill Park is located next to the Cochran Mill Nature Center. The Cochran Mill Nature Center is home to various local wildlife. There is a $3 entrance fee for adults (12&up) and a $2 fee for children. The Cochran Mill Nature Center is recognized as Atlanta’s Southern Crescent Region’s premier environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation center. The AMC series The Walking Dead also filmed at Cochran Mill Park.
